We have less than two months. There are bright, interested students out there, waiting to hear from us. Here is the plan:

First Week of August - Call the school(s) you are responsible for. Get a contact name and approximately when they will be back at the school. Mr. Corder has already sent out a list of established contacts for some schools.

Second-Third Week of August - Call the contact and set up a time to meet with them IN PERSON. They need to know what you are going to tell students, before you go in. Also, discussion of possibly getting students out of class to see a presentation needs to be settled here. Multiple meetings might be necessary.

First Week of School - GO TO CLASSES!! Talk to students and tell them about our great program! Take someone with you (a person with an officer badge is always helpful to have). Have visuals if you feel they would help the presentation. Practice before you go! Finally, be sure to give out the web page address. Tell them to mail the reflector for questions or if they want to come to the open house.

September 12 - ONE WEEK LEFT! All presentations must be finished by this point; people like notice before meetings so they can plan to be there. Also, this gives them time to look at our page. Agenda for the open house should be set by the end of the meeting on this day.

    Districts:
(first person is responsible for setting up presentation dates)

    • Hilliard: Aaron/Neil Davidson, Darby
    • Upper Arlington: Heather/Aaron
    • Dublin: Neil/Katie Scioto, Coffman
    • CAHS (Cols Public): Heather
    • Bexley: Hosh/Ian
    • Worthington: Ian/Hosh Killbourne, Thomas
    • Wellington: Ryan

Those of you not already signed up, pick a district! Gahanna, Westerville, Reynoldsburg, CSG/Academy/St. Charles

This plan is very realistic if everyone does their part. Let's go get us some new members! Heather Ward
