Lead Systems Engineer for installation and onsite project support
for international operations (currently Poland, Luxembourg, the
Netherlands and Brazil). Responsible for the coordination of new
client-server installation and support for development and production
environments, migration strategies and execution, performance
management and capacity lanning for LAN/WAN and server systems.
Perform custom network (CISCO, Motorola) and server design (Sun,
WinNT) and engineering for all global operations on an as-needed
basis, including field level designs requiring high availability.
Responsible for emerging technology evaluation and integration with
global base strategy (GBS).
Managed the installation of Sun Microsystems-based (UE4500
series), Oracle/AMARTA financial software for large scale transaction

Nationwide Insurance Enterprise, Columbus, Ohio.
Member of the technical staff responsible for the
support of 203 UNIX enterprise network servers and over 1000 client
desktop machines in the financial services operation. Served as a
member of the special projects team charged with the installation,
integration and operational oversight of a multi-million dollar
Auspex NFS server and data warehousing project.
Designed and implemented a network-wide, tiered time
synchronization system for critical Oracle financial services
databases and input systems to support synchronization with world
financial markets.
Installed and maintained new enterprise servers and
clients (Sun Microsystems hardware and software) within an NIS/DNS
enabled network. Managed Applix Productivity Suite and Oracle
